YOU RECEIVE ONLY WHAT YOU PAY FOR

You remember that certificate? I mean that school certificate. Or that certification you received for the training you attended. Would you have gotten it if you hadn’t showed-up for the adventure? You indeed had to work to qualify for it, right? You paid for it indirectly. How? By the labor you put in. Everything in life is paid for before it is delivered.

Maybe you’ve been a farmer before. Even if not, I believe you’ve witnessed farming before. Farmers seem not to have any doubt about sowing and reaping any longer. They know by experience that harvest doesn’t come when the price of planting hasn’t been settled. Indirectly, by pre-planting preparations, sowing and post-planting work, they pay for the harvest. And the harvest naturally comes.

You love football? I love the game too. I’ve been a fan since childhood. I’ve witnessed several world cups, European cups, African cups, and both local and foreign leagues. It’s joyful seeing your team win. But I’m yet to witness a tournament that awards a team before it plays the game. Or do you know one? … It doesn’t exist. You pay the price upfront. You play before you receive the award.   

Life only delivers after payment.

Are you still in doubt about the set-up? That you have to pay before you receive? Even in the spiritual, no answer delivers until someone performs the ritual of sacrifice—payment. You don’t receive until you ask. You don’t find until you seek. Doors don’t open on their own. By life’s set-up, someone must knock it open.

What are you still waiting for?

You want to become a better person or unveil an upgraded version of yourself? You need to pay the price first. Sit. Read the books. Attend the seminars. Take the courses. Engage the successful men and women. Look for yourself each day through self-reflection. Learn. And when you feel you’ve learned, still learn.

From January till now, I’ve seen none of my goals fulfil itself when I’ve not worked on it. Neither will yours, friend. Settle the account. Pay the price. Results only move towards settled accounts.

Your prophecies must be helped. Did you get me? I said, per the set-up of life, you would have to help your prophesies to manifest. You’re part of the fulfilling process. Ask Jesus. And if you aren’t still satisfied, ask Joseph in the scriptures.

If you want a better marriage or home, pay the price. Good marriages or homes aren’t born. They’re made. And if so, someone must champion that course. I believe in this case we’re talking about you, not someone else. Get into the driving seat and pay the price upfront.

Are you a student? Have you ever received a result for a particular exam you didn’t sit for? I think not.

Ask your friend the body builder. He settles his accounts almost every now and then. He makes the payment day by day. And that’s why he’s got six pack abs.

This is one thing you would want to prioritize in life: to pay every price upfront. It’s what brings the satisfaction, the answers, the promotions, the helps, the growth, and the opportunities.
